Review an Elementor site with your client: no screenshots, no emails
Pautio stores the Elementor widget ID in every comment, so it stays in place even if you rearrange the page. No extension for the client.
How does Pautio locate comments in Elementor?
Each comment stores the widget ID (data-id), which survives changes to structure and classes, along with the selector, XPath and text. If the widget has moved, it follows it. If it no longer exists, the comment appears as “Unplaced”.
What does the developer see?
The widget type, and whether it's in the header, footer or a popup, plus the page and the breakpoint.
Does it interfere with the editor?
No. The widget doesn't load inside the Elementor editor.
The phone number in the footer is wrong: a digit is missing.
Illustrative mockup.
And with other builders?
It is also excluded in the Customizer, Bricks, Divi and Beaver Builder. In Gutenberg it marks each block to locate the comment.
We are preparing documented tests with each builder and with caching plugins. Until we publish them, we make no claim of full compatibility.
